Polk County Iowa operates and hosts Iowa Law Hub online portal for member counties. Iowa Law Hub allows a Subscriber to retrieve and download a list of cases eligible for County Attorney collections for their respective county(ies). This list is provided by Iowa State Court Administration and is only hosted by Polk County. Polk County does not guarantee the accuracy of the list.
Subscriber agrees to the following Terms & Conditions:

Subscriber shall be granted access to the online portal through a username and password. Subscriber may access the database of eligible cases for their county(ies), and download the list for county collection use.

The lists contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as date of birth and social security numbers and it is the responsibility of the subscriber to ensure the information is protected once downloaded.

Iowa Law Hub expressly disclaims any warranties, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, with regard to the online portal.

Iowa Law Hub grants to Subscriber a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access and utilize the online portal to access and download the list of eligible cases for their county(ies) and retain these lists for future use, subject to the following restrictions: (i) Subscriber may use the online portal solely for Subscriber’s County Attorney collection purposes; and (ii) Subscriber shall not (A) sell, sublicense, distribute, rent, lease or assign their online portal access or the information it contains, to any other person or entity, (B) modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, translate, alter or create derivative works based on the online portal, or (C) permit any other third party to access and/or use the online portal.
The purpose of the Iowa Law Hub online portal is to provide efficiencies to Subscribers in the process of identifying and collecting delinquent Court Debt. In the event a Subscriber does not use the online portal or misuses the online portal, Iowa Law Hub may deactivate the account. An account may be reactivated upon request.
